A couple of pictures of transfers and hand craved stamps.
Trying to make use of all the doodles I do, these are from a set I have called fantasy flowers
I have loved carving the stamps, I found some ink pads that are suitable for fabric and only need to be ironed to fix them. I used rubbers for the stamps.
We went to see my brother on the weekend and had a lovely time, there happened to be a creative stitch and craft fair near by so an impromptu visit was in order. I have never been to this sort of thing before,( busy crowded places are not really my thing,) but I really enjoyed it spoke to a few very talented textile artists and bought fabric .....what did you expect, and some more fabric stamp pads.... hope you had a good weekend too:-)

Beautiful...i love the wee birdy...(and Daisy is just heart meltingly gorgeous!)
ReplyDeletex;)
I love the bird too. Gorgeous! Have you thought about designing your own fabric using Spoonflower?? Your doodles would look fab as a fabric design. x
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win of your "misfits." When I make something that doesn't turn out quite how I planned, I call it a "prototype."
ReplyDeleteyour little " misfits " are so lovely. i am in live with your doodles you stamped on your little cases. very sweet.:)
ReplyDeleteYour stamps are wonderful, they look great on the fabric prints. Must be quite time consuming to cut out the patterns in the rubber?
